Do you want to share your research with campus and the world? Submit now to The Lectern, Thiel’s award-winning research review. We are seeking student submissions from all disciplines: papers, posters, and audio/visual presentations. Work at all levels is welcome.
Submissions for the third issue are due by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2024.
Submission Guidelines:
- Authors must be a Thiel undergraduate student at the time of submission.
- Submissions from all disciplines and at all levels are welcome.
- Reviewers are looking for work that identifies and meets a specific purpose. The piece should sufficiently address a question that is meaningful to a field of study and/or a larger audience using sound research methods and/or original thinking.
- Reviewers may require certain edits as a condition of publication.
- Submissions must have a title.
- Authors are required to include a 300-word abstract for their project.
- Submissions should be no longer than 7,500 words. Citations and references do not contribute to word counts.
- Proper citations must be used in the corresponding style and or discipline of the work (APA, CSE, Chicago, MLA, etc.).
- MS Word documents are preferred.
- Submissions are reviewed via a double-blind process in which authors and reviewers are anonymous. Do not include your name, advisor, course info or other identifying information within your submitted document.
- The Editorial Board may contact professors or advisors related to the submission.
